I will not ever purchase another Chrysler engine unless they step up and admit to their mistake on the 2.7 liter engines. I think they should give all of us who are stuck with yard jewelry from cars we purchased with these defective engines monetary compensation or replace our engines in these useless cars free of charge. I thought Chrysler was a good company when I bought my car but I realized they were not the kind of company you could trust to step up and do what was right. I sincerely hope that this is not just another scam to fool people into thinking they have good quality when they really don't. Extremely unhappy customer with a loss of about $5000.00 from buying my 2000 Dodge Intrepid.

It's all fine and good to have this lifetime warranty but get ready for the dealerships to try their best not to honor them. I worked for a 5 star dealer (what a joke) and we were constantly being called in the office for too high cost on warranty and to "find" non warranty repairs or our a$$ would be out! Women and govenment vehicles were welcome because the service advisors would have a heyday b.s. ing them into repairs. I now work at a chrysler assembly plant and thats a whole other story. All I can say is I hope the 3 headed dog from hell is interrested in turning chrysler around and not just making look that way for a year or two and then saying they couldn't and sell off the parts much like they are right now with spinning of the mopar parts division.

The lifetime of what? If Chrysler LLC shuts down next month, your lifetime warranty was for one month whether you like it or not.
