Here in Carlisle, PA

The show starts tomorrow (Friday) morning, and vendors have been busy all day today building their tents, setting up their tables, and presenting their wares for the public tomorrow. We have our little Allpar banner flying at vendor space L10, and have also got banners on the tent.

To find the Allpar tent, just look for the survivors’ tent or the Chrysler test drives - and we’ll be right there. It’s a great location and we’re happy they gave it to us. What’s more, the Daytonas of Allpar are nearby - and in a prime location by Building Y.

See you there tomorrow!

    Hi Dave,

Hope all is going well at Carlisle. I am sort of excited for you this year. Like a test, given the tough economy we are in. Hopefully, next year will be a smashing success. I trust you are taking LOTS of pictures. IF, you happen upon any POLICE vehicles, please snap a few shots of them, get a bit of background, engine, etc, and send them to me. I am collecting pics. Got about 150 right now. IF anyone has pictures they care to send, I will take them all. Any where, any time, any vehicle, any age. Thanks. Happy Carlisiling!

So far no police cars, and I seem to have lost my gizmo that connects the camera to the computer… however, we should still have a LOT of pictures. Last year I think there were just two squads. Next year I hope to hit the NYC and Verona police car or emergency vehicle shows. The Allpar tent’s been a success again; the Carlise show seems quieter and more subdued, with fewer vendors and spectators, but some AMAZING cars are on display, including a 1962 Sport Fury with LESS THAN 1,000 miles. The Survivor’s Tent is very good this year with a nice variety.
