The rep got into the house by implying he was a survey man... said he wanted to talk about our Verizon FIOS. Then he talked about how awful and slow and unreliable it is compared to cable. Hey, I've HAD Cablevision. If you have copper-wire phone service, DON'T EVER LET SOMEONE TAKE IT OUT. Phones are too important for these yahoos - FIOS, Cablevision, and anyone else who shows up. They routinely stopped by the house to offer their sales pitch, even when we said we weren't interested, then when we said we still weren't interested and please note that fact, then when we asked why they were yet again at our door when we've explicitly told them we're not interested and now you're interrupting my dinner, and what kind of service could we expect anyway given the stunning incompetence and general lack of giving a darn so far displayed? What exists today amounts to a total waste of your time, unless you are iron cored and very persistant. The Government, so called, services are even worse. A sad commentary indeed for America.
