Time Capsule 2008: Chrysler Surprises
Our survey asked, “What is the biggest surprise Chrysler will spring on us before December 1, 2008?” And our respondents said…
- I would rather NOT say in light of the new ‘merger’ rumors.
- Not going bankrupt.
- They don’t sell to GM and break up the company and sell it in pieces.
- Merge with GM and cease to exist.
- Merge with GM
- Still being in existence.
- Bankruptcy
- I’m afraid a GM merger
- No idea, but maybe it will be a Challenger convertible…
- They were just kidding about the Caliber SRT4. They really plan to make a new small car to replace the Neon.
- Merger
- They will acquire General Motors under Cerberus.
- 2009 srt10 ram!
- I hope it doesn’t include GM!!!!
- They sold out to GM
- ohhh of course…the possible GW/Chrysler deal…what else!!!
- Production Jeep Gladiator/JT (I wish)
- That they sold out to GM and will be history.
- that they will merge with Nissan
- Merger with General Motors?
- I’m afraid GM
- new ownership
- Sellout!
- not existing
- Sadly I believe the end of this great company, by a sale to, I can’t bear to type it… General Motors.
- Dodge Hornet B segment production or Dodge Demon EV.
- have been sold?
- I sure as heck hope it is not this GM merger BS!
- The merge with General Motors. Personally the merging of two giants will spell disaster for the detroit auto industry.
- Sales increases on Ram
- Production of Electric Vehicle for mass sales
- the electric car and hybrid electric technology
- Selling out to another automaker again.
- Being shut down by GM and forcing me to buy used cars for the rest of my life!
- Sold to GM
- Co0peration with GM?
- Hopefully, that they avoid any hostle merger.
- Become part of GM

- “merger” with GM, it will spell the end, just like when Chrysler bought AMC
- Being liquidated by GM.
- 2010 Charger that looks like the 1969
- Not sure, but I know it will be awesome!
- The companies total dismiss, I hope not, however if they merge with GM, I feel that it will be short ride for Chrysler. I think that the Jeep brand will live on, hard to say for Dodge, they should brought Plymouth back.

- The biggest surprise will be the announcement of a partle sell off Dodge( public investors) Cerb. still in control.

- They’ll continue production of the PT Cruizer
- selling out to general motors

- Merge with GM
- Hmmm….I’m worried about the GM rumor, but I would hope it would be more like a higher HP and/or cheaper Challenger or other new, exciting model.
