I'd been looking for a Magnum for a long time and finally picked up a 2005 AWD R/T. The only one I found with less the 175,000 miles, actually runs, and it runs well, has a nice smooth ride and is not rusted out. The bad: the young man that had it decided to go 'gangsta' and black dipped the wheels and grill and he was no painter! I've already found out, despite what rim manufactures say, there are no 18 or 19 inch chrome aftermarket rims that will come close to fitting the AWD's. My tire guys say 22-inch rims will work, but, I have no interest in the 'Clown' car look.

    Any ideas?

Just look for take offs from any AWD Charger, Magnum, Challenger, or 300. Should be able to find 18” or 19” sizes.

Thanks. . . I may have found a set of rims, Verde's, that are suppose to work and don't cost $5000.00 a set like American Racing!

Check lxforums.com - Used to be plenty of people selling them. Make a wanted post in the parts section if you can't find them.

Tomguy. . . I wonder if you'd do me a favor? I joined lxforums, thank you, but they for some reason don't allow people to participate in the forums even if they are members, at least for an undetermined amount of time. So what I would wonder if you would be good enough to contact a member who calls himself Art-Tistic that got some Vision Legend 5's to work on his awd Magnum. I know he had to go with 20-inch wheels, but he doesn't say width, offset, 115 or 114.3, etc. and I need all the information. If you could see if the guy is still around I;ll p.m. you my email to give to him if you don't want to get all that stuff yourself. Thanks!

Tomguy, oddly, I'm not allowed to post to the forum, but, I can send p.m.'s to members and Art-Tastic's last post was last month. So here's hoping!

. . . and everywhere else. I think they are trying to figure out if new sign ups are spammers or robots before they give you the ability to post.

On the member page click on his name and it will take you to his stat page that shows his last activity as 8/21/2020. Though going through a lot of posts and searches I may have dug out all the information I needed from him. A bit here, a bit there. What are your thoughts on the 115 vs 114.3 debate?

LX (2005-10) models with AWD used various 18" aluminum rims.

LD (2011-20) retail AWD models used 19" aluminum rims. You would likely have to figure out a way to recalibrate the speedo, as the 235/55/19 rubber is about 1/2" taller than the 225/60/18.
2021 retail AWD models get new 20" rims.

2014.5 - Present AWD Pursuit models uses a unique 18" steel rim.

One thing maybe someone else could answer is whether the pilot hole size changed between LX and LD cars. I seem to recall - somehow or some way - the LX cars using the Ford size of 114.3 mm, and the LD/LA using 115 mm. They might all be 115.
    Just something to consider.

There is no 114.3 versus 115. It's the same, but some MFGs and users refer to it differently. The actual pattern is 5x4.5". LX wheels fit on an LH just fine. LH ones may not fit an LX due to smaller hub-centric bores, or smaller holes for the studs themselves - unsure if anyone ever tried.

I even put Charger police steelies on my Jeep XJ temporarily when I had 2 flats from off-roading. Let me tell you, those things looked like they belonged on it. I never saw a better look, and those were just street tires!
