I have to fix the gauges and I have a 77 service manual, anybody have a copy of a 78 up one that shows how to remove this ?

Disconnect the battery. The ammeter wires are hot and can short on the sheetmetal dash as you remove it.
Reach up underneath and disconnect the speedometer cable. There should be a pinch-tab where it attaches to the back of the speedometer.
Any Dodge/Plymouth B-van shop manual from '71-'78 should be the same. Check your main library?
P.S. - I believe that the steering column has to be dropped down to get the cluster past it.

Thanks- it was easier that I feared- mine is a 78 but has a 79 or later dash- the pins on the circuit board are snapped off so I have some work in front of me
