I bought the new issue of Collectible Automobile and they got an article about the 1979-81 R-body Chrysler New Yorker and Newport. I would had wished to see rendering and clay models.

And on the cover, they talks of the 1967 cars with a red 1967 Dodge Charger featured on the cover.

We had a 79 New Yorker new. Black with red interior. It was a nice car. The only complaint we had was the 904 transmission was gear noisy in second gear. I guess this is what happens when you're fighting for survival. The dealer called the zone and a new trans was shipped out pronto. I'm not sure it would've ever caused an issue, but they wanted us completely satisfied with our purchase.

I loved CA. Always high quality. After buying every issue for 20 years, I stopped. Too much content on the internet and after collecting car magazines for decades, something had to give.

Oh for the days when I could pick up '50s Motor Trends for 25c each....
