Picked up this TE and was told the clutch is out. Replaced the clutch but the car will not move. The speedometer is showing the correct MPH in each gear, including reverse. I have not filled the fluid yet (ran out of daylight). Will the fluid keep the front wheels from moving with the front end off the ground? Thanks in advance for any help.

Fluid is not needed to transfer motion in a stick-shift. I hope that there is some fluid in it, as the transaxle might be damaged if running dry.
Use only the Chrysler recommended ATF+4 fluid.
If your speedometer is working, then the differential is turning. Your problem may be CV axle splines that are not fully seated into the side gear.
Double-check your axle installation and top up the fluid before operation.
