My Granite car is actually a 2014 Dodge Charger R/T Plus AWD Sport (I am only missing three options heated steering wheel, adaptive cruise control and navigation). I also have a white 2014 Dodge Charger R/T Max AWD which has every option as well expect paddle shifters which my Plus has. The AWD cars already have the same rear gear as the R/T Road & Track cars. Both have the same tune. R/T Max means it has every option, R/T Plus doesn't. Standard R/T models have a lower rear gear thats why they are slower.

Got it! All down to the gear ratio. I forgot about that. Thanks man.

    Standard R/T has 2.62 R/T Road & Track and R/T AWD have 3.06.

Very nice car...sounds great! You must live in the north..with the awd option. Think that is a great option, especially for us northerners. Hope the option makes it on the new Challengers/Chargers to the R/T and Scat Pack cars...I think all of the auto world would love to see this on the Hellcat ;)

I need to look up what the Stage 1 kit entails. Have you looked at a Mopar Performance Torque Converter (or equivalent)?

Scat Pack 1 Kit delivers sizeable power and torque gains along with improved performance drivability and a more throaty exhaust note.

“This is a great option for owners who want to add a mild level of customization and personalization,” Simpson said, adding that the Stage 1 kit can typically be installed in four to five hours. “It really opens the door to performance tuning.”

    ✓ Powertrain Control Module

    ✓ Cold Air Intake

    ✓ Cat-Back Exhaust

    ✓ Performance Oil Filter

✓ Two Scat Pack 1 Badges

NOTE: The Scat Pack 1 shaker hood package does not include the cold-air intake. Chrysler 300 Stage Kits do not include badges.

No, I haven't looked into the Mopar Torque Converters.

Thanks! Now I just need to convince the boss (wife) lol.

This forum thread and a couple others in the AWD section have made me want to do some research on torque converters. I'm not looking to drag race my charger, just a little extra oomph in my daily driver.

What do you notice as far as improvements between your Scat Pack and other AWD charger?

More throttle response, quicker pick up and unfortunately I have to run the car on premium because of the Scat Pack Stage 1 ECM...

Good to know about the premium. Have you had to purchase tires yet? I'm looking at the Continental True Contacts right now. Wish the Extreme Contact DWS was available in stock size, I remember Bob Sheaves highly recommending them a few years ago.

I wanted to buy a used silver AWD Charger R/T with the red leather interior - but I just couldn't bring myself to love the Charger nose. :(

Hey Bob - where'd you get the 345 badge? I really want one, but preferably black versus chrome.
