it's not very scientific...but local lot doesn't appear to be moving new 200s all that fast ... :scared:

Most don't seem to know the car even exists yet (lack of advertising I suppose), but again its one of those cars that if you can get someone to look at it, they generally (almost universally) come away very impressed, and if they are in the market for a car you can usually sell them one. Inventories still aren't strong though, at least around here.

This came from Autonews and I don't know if this is truly accurate. According to this, if its accurate, the 2nd gen 200 is selling around 13,000 for the month of June. Could this be accurate?

I don't think that production numbers are the same as SALES numbers.

And FCA no longer provides actual production numbers - those are estimates.

Cool ... Hope they sell 147 Billion of 'em by 31st July; then more through the end of the year.

The fastback, I'm finding, turns out to be too fast for me.

They had the cabin just right for access and headroom comfort with the previous Gen, but lost me with this one. Some of the competitors are depressing me with their styling.

The high roof window-wagon Promaster - Aaaaah, now THAT's where I live. They hit it out of the park ;)

Autonews reported today that they will be ramping up for a big September push in order to clear out the old 200/Avenger inventory and to make sure the 200 has a clean launch. That's why mostly V-6's have been available first, now they'll start on the 2.4's. I have started to see some ads on TV for the 200 in the last week or two here. They are decent but not really memorable.

Has anyone on here purchased a 200? I'm looking at them but have not taken a test drive. I'd like to know how people like the 2.4 versus the 3.6. I assume the 200 2.4 will be close to the 2.4 in my 09 Sebring.

It seems a lot of reviews say to get the 3.6 and AWD. Is it worth the extra money?

Nearly every reviewer preferred the 3.6.

Which means "drive it for yourself and find out which one you like." ;)

"Preferred" see "preference", a greater liking for one thing over another. YMMV.

Has there ever been a writer /reviewer in the history of auto reviews that didn't "prefer" the more more powerful v6 option?

The only reason to choose the 4cyl is cost and possibly fuel economy.

who doesn't like smoother quieter and an extra 100+hp?

As for the awd...that is definitely a personal choice....I personally would pass . but I can see how it would be helpful to some.
