WHO CARES WITH HOW IT CORNERS WE'RE NOT EUROPEANS!!!!!!!!!!!
umm, i do? and im one of those 'nutjob hard core drag racers' that spent two days at the track this weekend.
Just hang into the wheel tighter and punch it....
Aslong as i dont feel like im steering a Cruise Liner, its all good.
These look really mean on the roads. It was following a black R/T Challenger.
Was that US23? If so I also saw a fleet of SRTs amd Hellcats (mix of 2015 Chargers, Challengers, and 1 Grand Cherokee) running southbound. Only thing I could think was they were heading to that test track where they were holding all the cherokees.
Quite a few of the people with the money to actually buy one care. Not all of us are stuck in 1970.
I took these on I94 just west of the city.
That rear view mirror shot just make the damned car look evil. I love it.
Well, you know what they say about assumptions....
I was born in November of 1970, thus I definitely do not remember 1970. Perhaps stuck in 1979 (Dukes of Hazzard) or stuck in 2004 (the year I finally got my '69 Charger) but definitely not 1970....
That said I'm pretty sure his post about handling was made in jest / sarcasm. (At least that's how I read it...)
Sure hope so. They handle well.
I can only assume that they are in the same league as the Challenger, and if so, yes, they handle VERY well for the size of vehicle...
Im sure the enviro whackos are thrilled about the Hellcat. Theres no reason for this car to exist. Not in 2014 anyway. In 1969 perhaps but not today. Not with all the enviro rules and 50 mpg average coming up . The car is rediculous when you think about it. It should be a concept car only. No sane person would buy this car. But.............Im glad they did build it.
Hmmm, woe is us, I will worry about what nannies think when this happens....
Nice pic Norm, have you ever been there?
I have...It's located near North Lake in Michigan, about 20 miles north and east from the proving grounds. One of the Chrysler engineers I played golf with lived there he owned a 1966 Chrysler 300 two door hardtop. Quaint little town with a dam and a hanging tire over the pond. The memory dates back to the '60s.
That's funny, because l was thinking of a place in Norway with the same name.
I have been there as well. In the truck thats my avatar pic no less
I think I still have the novelty sign I just "had" to buy when I was there...
The '15 front end is SICK. That is the best thing they've ever done...the front end on the previous Charger was hideous.
Have any of these Chargers made it to dealer lots yet? Or when is the release date for them? After the LA Auto Show?
