FWIW, the issue is that your dealer is a scumbag. The company does NOT have that policy. If it appeared under warranty, it is fixed for free, period. Call the head office and get your $50 refunded.

As an aside, Bajan Boy may have go to two separate "less than stellar" dealers, but isn't that kind of the point?

The local (scumbag) Ford dealer opened a Kia dealership, I have had dealings with both of them. Even though it is the exact same ownership group, the experience is night and frigging day better at the Kia dealership.

I think that speaks to the point BajanBoy was trying to make. FCA needs to find a way to remotivate under performing (scumbag) dealers. The problem is partially in the contracts, the dealers have ironclad contracts that really limits what FCA can do.

The ("long awaited") Challenger GT 3.6L AWD will launch in mid-January 2017.

Ah interesting. I was expecting sooner, but that will be a nice selling car in my opinion.

2018 you will see a minor refresh before the 2021 launch of the next generation. Just stuff to keep the car looking current. Not a huge overhaul.

Ah I see. Thanks for the reply. Any plans for a 5.7 bump in power at that time? Think we'll see that refresh at the next Detroit Auto Show? I'm trying to decide on getting a Daytona or wait for the refresh.

Dodge has been quiet... but with the new cold air intake and SRT electronic exhaust standard on every 5.7L model for 2017... I would think so.

Very sure, barring any future schedule adjustments. Have CTC friend re-check. What exactly did he say for launch date?

He said that the launch status in the system was on hold. I mean things have been so wishy washy there over the past several months, its hard to tell. But this was as close to three weeks ago.

Your "ADR" information is pretty much the same... car is scheduled for a mid-2018 appearance.

Just in time to drop the hammer on the GT500 again. GT500 will appear next year and that gives SRT a full year to make adjustments like they originally did when Ford announce 662HP.

They already know what the GT500 will put out, they did years/months ago.

No doubt the upcoming GT500 will be potent, but I have to think the SRT wizards are shooting for the moon with this one. With a nickname like 'ADR', you just gotta go big or go home. Can't wait to see it in action.
