Apparently my math is shaky, but I'd say it is a darned safe bet that the Super Hellcat, or Hell Cat Part Duex, or whatever, is going to have tires lots and lots wider than 275's.

Maybe there's plenty of 355 kumhos left over. Could the hellcat run a 19" rim?

If it goes to Conner... it's not for the wheels/tires.

To fit 355s, the Challenger would need dually-size fenders. :p

As a Viper owner I sure hope what's bringing it to Conner is what I prayed they'd make (but didn't) and teased back in 2008. Not counting on it though from what I've read in this and many other posts on this site. That combined with CAFE so on and so forth. But it sure makes an out of the loop guy like me wonder what Arrow Racing was up to with the Viper heart not too long ago.

Any chance they would ever offer Striker Red on the Hellcat? I know it is insanely expensive but I once saw a Viper in that color and it is just out of this world. Just striking...

I think ANY ISSUE can be engineered around. I think CAFE numbers are an excuse not to continue a product.

I'm not a math guru, but if am correct, the "roadmap" is pretty much laid-out in the thread...... again, just trying to read the map carefully. :)

I remember when Daimler took a long hard look at the Hemi and V6 that gave us a huge jump in mpg. It costs but at time its worth it. I would still like to see the Viper as the halo car but the take is low. Hellcat is fast but it can't turn. To me its only good for bench racing where Viper showed the world what US muscle can do. I really think the Europeans get a kick out of a Viper hotrod.

    You haven't driven a Hellcat or a SRT 392.

You are right, too much go for a 70 year old off the dragstrip. Went 10.9 once and only once. But I do run 6.99 on simulators. ;D

"....too much go for a 70 year old off the dragstrip."

Only if you want it to be..... ;):)

My mom told me when I was 19 that she sure hoped I'd get out of the "car-phase" soon..... when I hit 29, she said I was pretty close to the end of the phase..... she hoped...... 39 she gave up..... I haven't and won't.

You have an educated foot..... you are still breathing and you still have a choice..... try looking in the mirror...... only person you have to convince is you. Hope "self" listens.....

Unless something has changed very recently, ADR's will be coming down the line with their siblings and cousins

Could someone in the know ( oh2o, Mike v, Danno, ect) shed some light on the fate of the V10 after viper? Is it a possibility that it would continue? And I am not inquiring about a crate form.
