I think that vehicles really need to start coming with built in coolers/warmers. The heated and cooled cupholders that Chrysler had in some vehicles for a few years ago was a great option.

I love the "chillzone" in my Caliber. Honda has a cooler in the Odyssey. And I think a minivan is the perfect vehicle for such a feature.

I saw an ad the other day for either Honda or Toyota.............getting old...............can't remember anything. Anyway, they now have a vacuum cleaner in the van to keep it clean. Now that's cool.

Honda was the first one with a vacuum in the Odyssey.

The new Pacifica has one as well.

The one in the Pacifica is more powerful. The one in the Odyssey is like something you'd order from J C Whitney and plug into your cigarette lighter outlet.

    Is it really that bad?

I have a friend with an Odyssey with the vacuum and he loves it.

Is it the case that instead of a Spare Tire you get a Vacuum Cleaner - or is this in addition to the Spare?

You can tell I've been under the impression that it's one or the other ...

    rekt

    (I don't disagree)

    ha ha

    Yeah, apparently.

Interesting. Where, the Pacifica vacuum mounts in a different location, so it shouldn't mean the same compromise on the Pacifica right?

And, in the event that Chrysler were to successfully become a "mainstream" (big "if" at this point), there'd be nothing stopping Chrysler from offering the high-performance versions that Dodge now sells.

At that point, it would make financial sense to simply ditch Dodge and keep everything under Chrysler.

How about the Celine DiVan, with 60 gigabytes of Celine's most irritating music, hand picked by herself, stored in the HDD? :D

Well, Sergio is always looking for ways to consolidate and save money. Killing off Dodge means one less brand to promote. I see it coming to that.

If he wants to kill a brand, I find no use for the Ram brand....or Alfa Romeo for that matter

It's been said multiple times that Dodge is necessary for Alfa to share economies of scale. Dodge isn't going anywhere. Let's get back on topic please.

    [IMG] Thank you

The amount of arguing and hand wringing related to marketing questions is insane.... let me fill people in there is one company FCA, then there are marketing brand that help define products and position Fiat, Alfa, Lancia, Maserati, Jeep, RAM, Dodge, Chrysler .... now for that to work the general public whether in Italy, China, Brazil, or USA kind of have to be a bit ignorant to that.... but good gracious you would hope people informed enough to come here would understand that.....

There is absolutely nothing preventing whatever vehicle shares parts with Alfa from being branded a Chrysler instead of a Dodge. And all this assumes that Alfa is even going to be resurrected successfully. I still predict Dodge will be dead and gone in about a decade, maybe less. In fact, if Sergio gets his industry consolidation wish, there may not even be an FCA in 10 years. Poof.

Let me just add to that...FCA pays for marketing whether they do it themselves (not likely) or hire someone else (likely)...that is assuming they don't have a marketing company staffed by Oompa Loompas and unicorns that do it pro bono. ;)
