    So...

The Challenger will come in five engine flavors, 300+ to 840 hp?

6 speed stick, 8 speed auto,

    V6AWD

Enough brake, tire, and suspension packages to boggle the mind

An entire rainbow of cool colors

Really wicked interior with lots of choices

No wonder the Chally is taking over.

It was a bit before I was old enough to be into cars really big, but Back in the day, I could never imagine the Mustang or Camaro being outsold by a Challenger.

It is truly a good time to be a Mopar fan.

Now, if I could only get @MoparDanno to sell me one of his Dakotas for a good price, really good price. Or his '68.

If only there were a convertible available. Amazing to think a design that is now what eight years old is outselling recently restyled competitors. And who would have thought a wide range of options would widen the appeal and increase sales?

The Challenger just isn’t competitive anymore ;)

Challenger lost a sale to me. Interior color restrictions on AWD (unless that changes for 2018) and no new convenience options for the SXT. I really considered a Mustang convertible, but just didn't buy either. It's a great time if you want the performance versions for Challenger.

They have truly built the current "L"cars up over the years...... more colors, packages, options, etc. It is truly a modern feat and history n the making. Wonderful times!

    Is this a joke?

More colors are a modern feat?

Don't get me wrong, they have done well with the L cars, but how about some reality here? Changing colors is not a big advancement.

Color restrictions for interior are changing IIRC.

I've always wished you could get a red or white interior on the Blacktop cars. GoMango, Blacktop package, and white interior - perfect.

At the risk of being labeled as one of the horsemen of the apocalypse, I'd also like to point out that shuffling trim levels and colors doesn't mean the Challenger is staying competitive. We'll have to wait until 2020 when it's truly competitive. And before someone points out the sales numbers, there are plenty of vehicles that lead their respective classes in sales but fall behind in other aspects to competitors. I'm glad they're still making a profit from of a vehicle this old, but that means there will be very high expectations for the next one.

And everyone conveniently omits the Challenger is heavily incentivized in some trims. In fact, it looks like August incentives are up over July on Challenger.

Weird part is, there is hardly any incentives in Canada on the LX models...

$4k on V8 Challenger here. $2250 on V6 ( this may have went down?). $3250 on Charger. $4250 or $5250 on 300. These are my local incentives.

All I can say is, I certainly hope they retain the interior size on the next Gen L's....... that is definitely a factory for me...... along with performance.

i dought they will keep it. The Challenger is the Only 5 Passenger RWD Car on the market and its currently one of 2 5 Passenger Coupes in the US (Civic Coupe) in the US... maybe the world. Rolls Royces dont even off that.

We're talking about the standard scat pack rims, correct?
