    Hmmmm.
    Early news on Allpar.

Shame FCA is run by a CEO and Management Team that know nothing about cars.

Please explain. That is a pretty bold statement considering how far FCA has come since 2009.

I agree with what Mike V. said:

"And the current Charger/Challenger will go out with a bang like no other vehicles in auto history. Hellcat and Demon were just the start."

Even here in Europe that news is doing the rounds.

    Enjoy 2018.

Maybe the return of the Superbird is nears us? :) Maybe this time it will be able to lift off... :)

If the superbird came back I would be at a loss for words. The superbird was my all time favorite car. Maybe this is the mythological car that is supposed to compete with the mustang and camaro more directly in the future as stated in the thread product pipelines.

So I should probably wait a bit longer for 2019 Challenger over a 2018 RT in spring?

The car in that article is the midsize RWD sedan. Not another smaller coupe.

I know I was aware of that but they took the dart and made it into a sedan when it was once a two door.

Something along the lines of the cuda? And having to be paid cash so insurance isn't an issue?

As previously stated, the ‘cuda already happened... in 2015 the Hellcat was born.

.. uhh.. pretty sure it was available as both, and as a wagon for that matter; at least as the originals. A lot of people have selective memories when it comes to classic cars. The only ones worth remembering are apparently the ones that auction for millions and are the rare variants. Suddenly the rare cars (aka the ones nobody bought) are worth something, and people forget the average, basic sedan version of the car even existed.

The 13-16 Dart was a sedan or a 5-door hatch (ottimo/viaggio), no 2 doors. Even as a Fiat.

Yep that's why I said once a two door meaning it also had four doors at another point as well. Wanted to clarify. And yes the 13-16 dart you're right never had two doors. Wish it was a performance vehicle like the '68 Dart (which was amazing). As you said auctioned cars stick with people the most but I was still aware of the 4 door darts. But I do appreciate the now discontinued Dart a bit more than I originally. It seemed like a fun car to drive with solid fuel economy and a well rounded interior. I still appreciate old products especially from mopar. But now I'm excited for new products and I think FCA has something up their sleeve to really compete especially with high performance products such as the shelby mustang, corvette etc. And you can't forget about the other segments as well.

    Well, that is interesting..
But, the only way I would buy another current generation L-cars, is if a Hellcat motor was dropped into a Scat Pack Shaker..
