Yeah, been that way since at least 2005 here.

But usually it's two different bulbs. The refreshed Fusions, and a few others use switchback lights (white LEDs for the DRLs, and orange LEDs for the turn signals)

I can confirm that the 2019 KL will have switchback DRLs.

Seen the new Cherokee in person today in its swirl camo and while the camo hides a lot, the front still has that Cherokee signature look. The Compass styled tail lamps are ok looking, but personally for a vehicle that its suppose to distance itself from the last thing I would want is to take direct styling features from that vehicle. Point is, they fixed the Cherokee from what everyone disliked about it. My only problem, it will blend in with the rest of the Jeep lineup instead of looking different from the rest of the traditional lineup. Good news is... I heard Hurricane power from under the hood.

This is what i feared. Lets hope they keep the TrailHawk trim different.
Thx for the unbiased report !

I feared the same thing. Now we will have the 'big' Grand Cherokee. The 'medium' Grand Cherokee. And the 'small' Grand Cherokee.

Yeah, not a fan of the Compass tail lights. I'll probably tint the tails like Charger owners do to remove the clear sections to clean it up. That is assuming that the Trailhawk gets those same lights.

    Otherwise, I'm waiting to order...

My '04 Durango had tha feature but not the '04 300M. I think you're right though, by 2005, they all had that feature.

I caught a 2019 Jeep Cherokee Limited yesterday... the Limited still have the chrome tip exhaust bezels like the Overland model above.

I don't see it looking like a Grand. Or a compass. Still remains very Cherokee.

Might have to pick up a rear tailgate and rear fascia from a totaled 2019 in the future. They can keep the new front clip.

I see a change with the media inputs, but the dash looks very similar to current

I like the current interior better. The material in the new one doesn't line up at all, and what's with that piece that folds over above the info screen? Talk about poor fit and finish! :p (Runs away. :D)

The lower part of the dash seems to be slightly different and the silver trim surrounding the infotainment display. Also new fonts and UI in the uConnect.

The silver trim around the screen looks more refined and less plasticky.
