Throwing this out to whoever has the stop start. I have expressed for some time doubts in its benefits. I drive with mine on all the time, my wife turns it off. I approach it as an experiment observing not only its fuel savings but how smooth it operates. It's not smooth, on par with the transmission. Acknowledging my wife's time in the car with it off, i'm convinced fuel saving is nil or worse. I still however am fascinated by it, especially stopped in busy intersections making left hand turns.

Tying into the TH vs TH thread i'll add, i wonder why a THawk needs stop start anyway.

Lastly my dash is now lit up with (A!) message, STOP/START is not working and requires service. I know some, myself included, wondered if the added engineering/mechanicals would be positively countered by fuel savings. At 23,000km/14,000miles i'm not seeing it.

To bad, Cherokee has been a flawless vehicle thus far. Off to a FCA dealer experience i go.

    Thx Bob!
    Looks good.
Happy to see the back has not been neutered like i expect for the front.
Interesting these latest shots have the body panels padded.
    Hmmm....?

I could be wrong but I seriously doubt we're going to see any changes to the doors or roof unless they've made some small changes to make a contrast-colored roof possible which would look great on the Cherokee. There doesn't seem to be any evidence of that though.

So, I assume that the (front of the) Cherokee Trailhawk is as difficult to spot as the yeti...

Testing improved NVH measures? It doesn't matter which side of the door you stick the damping mats to, but it does matter where you put it.

This is actually rather interesting. Don't care for the areas next to the tow hooks, as they look like they are just blanks because you didn't option the fog lights. (I know the fog lights are above, just in the spot where the headlights used to be)

But, overall I like it. Keeps a bit more of the "aggressive" look of the current KL than I expected, and gets the fog lights up out of harms way.

I'll need to see it in person. Something looks strangely "smooth" about it like there aren't enough angles and is instead one big piece of plastic. Mildly disappointed but I'll save my final opinion for when I see it in person.

Looks great! Just goes to show that having unique styling doesn't have to look bizarre or plain butt-ugly.

Yes, the accent piece breaks up the plastic. Like I said, I will need to see it in person but I don't like the huge, uninterrupted sea of plastic right below the grille.

Yeah, the bumper seems to be beefier than before, and the accent piece doesn't seem to have as much of a differing colour than before, but we will see when it's revealed...

Aaaah, I get what you mean. Yes, it should have something there to break that down.

Have I ever mentioned how much I love my 2017 Trailhawk?
    They can keep that.

I think the non-TH will look much more mainstream.

I'm happy that the TH kept some of it's distinct look.
