Even the SXT with Super Track Pack is getting the SRT front fascia?

Really don't think the SXT needs the Scat Pack hood or the SRT appearance... and not just because it makes my car look dated. Seems like overkill for a 305 horsepower car. Not to mention making the Scat Pack/SRT/Hellcat feel less special.

^ Agreed, though on that note, it sort of makes the higher-hp vehicles get the sleeper effect in the end. lol

Makes me wonder just how many people liked the SRT appearance compared to the standard Charger. I mean I know there were some people that said the 2015 update looked too much like the Dart but geeze. The SRT looks good (undoubtedly). But it looks so good it justifies the extra aesthetic aggression on a car with (as you said) 305 HP? I'm astounded.

If you remember, I have posted over the past couple of years that Dodge would be dumping the crosshairs (those would be exclusive to Ram) and Dodge will take its own identity. Durango will make sure that GT, R/T and SRT all have the same front end for 2018. Charger moves two more trims into the non-crosshair lineup for 2018 as well. So it shouldn't be a surprise. The crosshair will be gone in 2020 on ALL Dodge models.

Yep, I remember. I just expected this to coincide with an update to the SRT models' appearance as well so there would be a difference. Now they all look the same.

Edit: Also, fog lamps on the SRT fascia are halogen right? That seems like a step down compared to the LEDs on the standard models.

The new grille badges have already been put in place on 2017 Charger SRT HELLCAT models since December.

No. The Super Track Pak models on R/T and SXT Plus will have the standard R/T spoiler.

SRT392 models do pick up the current SRT HELLCAT wheels instead of the one standard wheel for 2018.

Those brass monkey wheels are sexy. On a side note, does anybody know if the 4th Gen 8.4 will plug up to the cars with the 3rd Gen radios? I really just want the Android Auto/Car Play functionality....

2017 8.4 UCONNECT systems can be put only in 2016 model year cars. It doesn't work in 2011-2014 and 2015 cars.
