He's going to have to wait like the rest of us.
I appreciate the compliment... but I simply cannot accept it. That’s not my name nor will I claim it to be
Does anyone have an update as to when the '18 Durango will be in Showrooms?
@Mike V. @redriderbob @oh2o - looks like Dodge found another client! Do we have an answer for this person? (...won't deny I am also curious).
PS love that the info you insiders provide creates clients for us salespeople. Thank you!
I'm debating between the Durango and the '18 Traverse. The Traverse hits showrooms here in Vegas in 2 weeks. Need a solid update to see if I wait to pull the trigger. Thanks.
Ordering is open for 2018 Durango and Grand Cherokee. JNAP began 2018 MY production at on 7/24/17.
Order to delivery: 10-12 weeks.
Weird, the website is still saying only 2017. Ordering from the dealer only?
Build and price takes a while to update. Website probably won't reflect 2018 for a few more weeks.
After I posted that, I kinda started thinking it might be a while. I'm just very much looking forward to starting shopping...it's been a while for me.
I don't blame ya. I'll be in the market for a new truck shortly, already doing research
Build and price on website typically gets updated in September
Thanks Mike. Now that it's getting closer to purchase time, I'm getting excited like a little kid and I'm eager to start my shopping. It's the little things in life.
I appreciate this info, but I'm looking for a date that I can expect to see an '18 Durango in my local Dodge Dealership. I know you can't be exact, but an educated guess would be appreciated.
With how it was last year tthe website will be updated around January.
Early September. Each dealership will be different based on location and ordering date.
I cannot predict when your dealer will receive a 2018 model. I do not know the location of your dealer. I do not know when they decided to order Durango’s for inventory. I do not know how many your dealer chose to order.
You can do the math for ordering (ordering started in May IIRC). If it takes 10-12 weeks to fill an order and your dealer ordered on day one, then Durango’s could start showing up in mid to late August and be in readily available by the end of September.
I'm not going to be purchasing until the Spring at the earliest, so it's not a big deal to me...I'll continue to build 2017's on the website and dream my little dreams until I can start building 2018's and continue with that until purchase time. Does that make me some kind of weird stalker?
