Yes but like Mike said, sales are up, so the new vs old crash testing doesn't exactly correlate with sales. Can it hurt sales, sure, but there is conflicting information being reported on whether or not vehicles are "safe". Current Rams get 4 and 5 star official ratings plus marginal and good unofficial ratings. What does Joe and Jane Consumer think when the same truck gets a spread of 4 out of 5 ratings points? My hope is they would educate themselves and make a good decision. I think reality is safety is just part of the buying equation for most consumers and the reputation of a vehicles safety is more powerful than a spot check. YMMV.
