I GOT MINE!!! Well after months of research and "Trolling" forums (like this one since June), I ordered my Durango and I just got it a week ago. So it took 9 weeks from order date to delivery date and I couldn't be happier. I was not a "Mopar" groupie or any other manufacturer' groupie, I just wanted to completely research and find the best possible SUV for me. I was leasing a 2015 Lexus NX and without going into too much boring details, I really did not like that car. But I did like the "Luxury" feel and wanted that in my next SUV. I looked at EVERY possible vehicle and decided that the Durango was the best fit for me and my needs. While there were some worthy contenders (KIA Sorento was #2) the Durango checked more boxes for me than any other vehicle. The next question was to order the R/T or the Citadel. While I liked the power and new SRT looks of the R/T, I didn't like the gas mileage and it wasn't quite as "plush". The Citadel Platinum had more of that "Luxury" feel I was going for with better gas mileage and it was the only trim that had the Sepia/Black interior option, which I absolutely LOVE! So, I went with that one in Octane Red! I want to thank the people on this Forum that gave insight and constructive information that helped me in my search. This Forum was definitely a helpful and useful tool. Here's a couple Pic's of my New Durango. I did change the wheels and I also pinstriped it.

I like the new Citadel font; slightly italicized. Small but good change.

Congrats on your new Durango; you can always change the bumper later ;)

The red makes that look sportier than I would've expected in a Citadel. I do like the embroidery.

I went to look at the 2018 Durango R/T to see if it looked better in person than online.
The dealer had just taken a 2016 Durango R/T in trade on a new Rubicon Unlimited.
Redline, red interior, AWD, tow package. Only 15k miles. It was exactly what I'd have ordered other than the ugly Blacktop wheels.
Could not beat the deal. I really missed the 2017 Durango I sold to buy the PA house (ended up I didn't really need to sell it, but that's what the mortgage "expert" advised me to do so I did).
Ended up trading the Grand Cherokee, minivan and the non-FCA vehicle for the Durango and a new Wrangler Unlimited Sport.

By the way - why can't they offer an attractive wheel on the Durango?
I hate the Blacktop wheel, the Brass Monkey wheels were tolerable on a black Durango but tacky on a red one.
I may have to find something from a Grand Cherokee, maybe the SRT Spider Monkey wheels..

Couldn't they at least offer a chrome wheel option for us 'old schoolers' ?

I'd pick any one of these over the gloss black blacktop wheels:
    Chrome
    Polished aluminum
    Machined aluminum with painted pockets
and even that 1990's standby Sparkle Silver paint.

I still have the gloss black Willys wheels from my previous Jeep Wrangler sitting in the garage in Georgia. I put matching Granite Crystal wheels on it.

That looks red in the picture...not the saddle brown like color I believe it is support to be.
Wonder why those don't have the Citadel logo?

They're the red seats with the standard // Dodge embroidery. I didn't realize they were available on the citadel either fwiw.

They're not suppose to be I don't believe for the Citadel.
Heck, they don't list the Red other than for the R/T.
