IIRC RRB said he's really excited for the Durango for the 2021 MY. And there's no hellcat option. Hmmm...

Does anybody know when ordering stops for the 2018’s? My dealer said he was going to look and get back to me, but hasn’t. We’re not buying probably until the summer, but I’d like to know if I can still order then if I need to. Right now RT’s near me are few and far between.

That’s what I’m thinking, but I want to make sure. I’m emailing with 3 different dealers right now so hopefully I’ll find out more soon.

Based in the Google hits I got from searching when you could last order a 2017 Durango, if you order in summer you are going to be ordering a 2019, not a 2018.
This link is fleet, but civilian orders were probably similar.

Thanks for this! I honestly didn’t think about using the Google machine. :p

One of the dealers got back to me, and said it was “around June” as a cut off...so whatever that means. Lol. We’re looking to build a house soon, so we wanted to get this done before then or it’ll have to be pushed off until afterwards...which wouldn’t be the end of the world at this point. There’s a lot of moving pieces making this more of a PITA than it would normally be.

Ordering for new model year vehicles usually opens up around July with delivery in August or September. JL and DT might be different since they were recent introductions.

    I'm seeing for 2019 Durango:

    Orders open: 6/8/18
    Production begins: 8/28/18

How's that for my guess earlier?

Thanks. Any other time, it probably wouldn’t matter, I could find one in dealer stock to suit my needs...but right now there just aren’t any. One of the dealer’s told me this doesn’t happen very often. Just my luck! :D

Great news! There's something just not right about seeing Tahoes mixed in with the Charger Pursuit cars. When is the next round of comparison testing? CHP and MI State Police are the big testers, yes?

I need help from the Allpar community .... I'm ordering my wife a 2018 Dodge Durango Citadel today and as she is only 4' 10" is there someone who makes automatic running boards
that fit that vehicle. The Mopar ones don't look good on a Granite Crystal with Platinum package Durango as the chrome trim under the doors looses it's accent with the running boards
that are in a fixed position all the time.
I also thought about the Mopar spring kit that can lower it 1" ..... that could help .....

please , anyone with either , please chime in an maybe share a picture ....

DeeZee are really popular on Durango's. Fixed not automatic, but given the lower height of the Durango, fixed is probably better choice.

NXc Running Boards - Dee Zee (at https://www.deezee.com/product/nxc-running-boards/ )

Plenty of pictures and reviews on-line.
