Who all is planning to go to the North American International Auto Show next month in Detroit? I'm wanting to go and have tickets, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it.

Park in greektown (should be free) then taking the people mover. Or now you have the q line so you can park further from downtown

Then don't go, no one is forcing you to go. I was just letting you know considering greektown is right off the highway and the q line is too if you know where to get off. Both involve zero time driving in downtown

Is the schedule for presentations by the various manufacturers out? There would be one for the Wrangler unveiling, I would think, and if there is a second, for the Cherokee refresh. I am speculating, of course.

Ram's press conference is surprisingly short. Jan 15th, 9:05am-9:35am

Maybe we’ll get a peek at it soon like we did with the Wrangler, Cherokee, and even Silverado were shown before their respective shows.

the casinos know that their lot is being used for free parking and they will ask you for your gambling gold card (greektown). you will have to park elsewhere.

Haven't had any issues at greektown the last two years. They very rarely make people pay for parking.

I see that Jeep has a scheduled press conference on the 16th between 8 and 9.
Considering RAM is presenting the completely new 1500 in 25 minutes and Ford is the only other car brand with more than a 25 minute press conference at 45 minutes what does that mean?
Are they planning a 1 hour press conference for the facelifted Cherokee, of which they have published some photos earlier?
Or have they planned a surprise?

I thought the Scrambler was coming a bit later this year. If not, pleasant surprise.

The Wranglers were shown in L.A. so they will not be in the press conference.
The refreshed Cherokee was announced for this show.
Would they show the Scrambler this early?
It´s still almost a year away from production.
The refreshed Renegade would be a possibility but it is only coming in Q3 or Q4 so they could bring it to New York instead.

I don´t know but an hourlong press conference at a major Autoshow, first one of the day, would suggest they want to make a big splash.
I wouldn´t let journalists come for an entire hour to look at two refreshes, no matter how nice they might be.

That would indeed suggest either the pickup or something off the radar.
