    I replaced my 2012 Compass with a 2019 .
I noticed the brakes on the new one are extremely sensitive and grabby.
When I bring it in for it’s first oil change I’m going to mention it.
Does anyone know if there is an adjustment available?

Could be the difference between old worn brakes and brand new brakes. Not sure they'd be able to tweak them much.

Sometimes this means the pads are contaminated.

Every new Compass is like this (including mine). Pretty much every review of them mentions it. And no, it doesn't get better, you just get somewhat used to it.

It's one of the things other than the lack of low range, in my opinion, that makes it quite unsuitable for offroad use. The brakes are very hard to modulate at low speed between "no brake" and "full stop". Trying to go slowly over a rocky area under control is almost impossible. And again, the lack of low range means there's no crawling speed without using the brake.
