That is the 2016 Moab concept Comanche. I remember it because I love it! Although, living in Wisconsin now, I think I would prefer a hard top.

The claim is for “The ornamental design of an automobile, as shown and described.”

This is probably just Jeep protecting its IP, and not letting another company design/manufacture a car, or concept, or toy, or T-Shirt, or poster, etc. based on the Jeep Comanche concept, and if they do, Jeep gets to sue them for the profit.

I don’t think that this means the Comanche concept will be produced. I classify this in the same file folder as the Barracude/‘Cuda trademark patents. Strictly IP protection, nothing relating to production.

Yup. I'm not a big fan of Renegade, but that was one of my favorite concept vehicles. I don't see it ever making it to production though....

As Muther they protect the design/styling that way.
A car difficult to do, but a toy / car model is not difficult to do :)

That would be an awesome ranger fighter, even though it is smaller and less doors. the equivalent of a small Kei Kar pickup here.

I’m getting more and more excited to see this beastie in the flesh. Even more so than JL if that’s possible. I kinda wish I had a time machine. :D

I’d be in that market, if priced right.
