It appears that the B&P is wrong. 2D build sheet lists the cheapest Rubicon base MSRP of $38625 and a Recon MSRP of $43380.

4D build sheet has slightly different prices but not as significant, $42125 and $46880.

This is why I use the build sheets instead of the B&P when possible.

    $46,880 - $42,125 = $4,755.

That’s actually $2,000 over the originally listed price, which is even worse!

    Again...why...?

From the build sheet, the $2755 does NOT include the powertrain upcharge to go from the 3.6 manual to the 2.0 auto w/eTorque, which is $2000. The $2755 includes all of the other parts of the Recon package (LED headlights, bumpers, spare tire reinforcement, decals, etc). They should've been more clear about this when it was unveiled.

“LED headlights are free! Note: requires 8-speaker stereo, a $2,500 option”
(Not a real quote, but they used to do stuff like that...)

Looks like an Altitude trim package, similar to the Wrangler Sahara Altitude. That painted bumper is a little much though.

I like that color more than any current Gladiator color.

Would love to see a picture of it on a Wrangler. I also think Ocean Blue will look great with the painted bumpers, but I'm a sucker for blue cars.

After years of Granite Crystal cars (from a 2013 300s to a 2018 Renegade with several in between) on on a red (maybe burgundy) kick now:
19 Grand Cherokee - Velvet Red
19 Ram Classic - Delmonico Red
13 Wrangler - Deep Cherry Red

The red Gladiator would fit perfectly in your driveway then. ;)

I haven't had any colored vehicles... Several black, two granite, and two white. My next one will probably be blue.

Snazzberry reminds me a lot of Candy Apple Red, the color of my 97 Caravan.
