will it be the Alfa or Maserati platform? My concern is the interior space, are those platforms able to be at least as big as the present 300?

Are you referencing calendar year or model year?

I was talking about model year not calendar year as I assumed.

In that case, only one or two of the above would be correct.

I need to make better assumptions lol

Either way Im happy and excited that FCA did not let me down with a New 300 in the pipeline.

My one concern is, what will FCA do with over 51 new suvs and 18 updated suvs from Ford, Buick, Chevy, GMC, Mazda, Hyundai, Genesis, Kia, Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Lincoln, subaru, volkswagen and volvo over the next 3 years. I just did about an hour of research looking over projections for each manufacturer the total count over the next 3 years or by 2021 is 51 new and 18 updated suvs of various sizes. I did not count the BMWs, Mercs, Audis, Lexus, Porshe Land rover and jaguar. I just counted the ones that is priced similar to fca vehicles. 69 total suvs by 2021 at what point does saturation sit in. Im glad that FCA has made sedans some emphasis of importance but thats alot of SUVs. I do understand that those vehicles will replace alot of sedans in other manufacturers pipeline but I think that many suvs are a mistake. I hope FCA is really paying Close attention to the industry with that many suvs saturation will be crazy.

Ummm. (randy1911) Are you aware you mis-speled (lol) CHALLENGER - in the title?

As far as the 'revised and/or redesigned' cars in question, shaving 800 pounds (off Challengers) would be a good start - - and bring them in line with the real (E-body) versions - ('70 - '74).

Now that should be worth a slap!

If you take 800 pounds out of the Challenger the resulting product would be either too small to compete in the same class or too unsafe to drive.
