Codes are P1217 Active exhaust valve 1 performance,u0401 implausible data from ecm,p P2172 high airflow/vacuum leak detected. Vehicle will not start or run, feel free to take a crack at it!

Technician is leaning towards a locked up motor at this point that would be shocking! About to find out oil level is good.

    Has anyone seen this before?

If it is under powertrain warranty, I wouldn't touch it. Get it to a dealer.
A valve (#1 exhaust code?) may have dropped or broke and punched a hole in the #1 piston (high airflow/vacuum leak code?)?

Looked bone stock and we advised him to take it to the dealer. It was a young kid driving so who knows what he did to it.

Too young to know he should have taken it the dealer first!

Sounds like you dropped some lifters... I have a 392 in my Ram 2500, and after the code from cylinder 8 misfire.. start doing research. For me the coil needs replacing but this sounds like the lifters carved out a grove in the cam ... Failure.
