Firefly engine number 500k was manufactured in FCA's plant in Betim (Minas Gerais - Brazil). All the engines manufactured to date are naturally aspirated versions, soon will start production of turbocharged versions.

Yes, about half of the production destination Poland (Fiat 500 and Ypsilon) and Italy (Panda).

In Betim Teksid opened an aluminum foundry for blocks and heads production.

Teksind Aluminium is the part of Teksid that was not recently sold. Cast iron activities worldwide were sold to Tupy, part of the project to make FCA small enough to merger with PSA.

Tekisd in Betim jas a capacity for 1.3 million heads / year and 720k blocks / year.
