    Hello All,
I changed the fuel sending unit and while changing the return hose in the tank the hose crumbled. so added a short piece of hose and of course used clamps. All worked well then a month later the fuel gauge is now stuck at 3/4. I think the float got caught up on the hose and clamps. Can anyone tell why I need the hose in the first place? I know what it is there for but I can't see why it is needed except just to keep fuel in the fuel bowl. And has anyone not connected the hose in the tank.
    Thank you.
