It looks like it could easily become a Dodge for other markets, too.
Very nice upgrades. AWD and the 10.1" screen are certainly the big news for me. Looks good.
I've been complaining about the previous models, but I'm seriously impressed with the 2021 Pacifica! They mostly fixed the styling features that I didn't like...they improved the console, they're offering a new, lighter-blue color, got rid of the wimpy grille, and made the back end look much more balanced and reasonably attractive.
The only new feature that failed in my opinion, is the quilted seats. I can't decide if it looks more like a Korean war era Chinese winter uniform, or an adult diaper. Looks like I won't be considering the Pinnacle.
One unanswered question is if they installed a full time start-stop lockout switch. If not, at least they have a few months to get rid of that annoying feature.
Other than that, it looks like a home run. Good job, Chrysler!
That's not going to happen. It has to default to "on" for the improved efficiency to be counted as part of the EPA estimate.
That's coming 2022
Anyone who wanted Chrysler to be the pinnacle of luxury can now note this:
The Pacifica appears to come with a Chrysler pillow. Talk about luxury.
I'm not sold on the styling updates. I feel like it went from unique to generic. Definitely looks more like the former T&C. Maybe it's because I have a 200S and actually grew to love that styling.
We WERE looking to buy a Pacifica in the next 6 months but with these updates coming I may want to hold off until the 2021 model year becomes available. No sense buying a $50K minivan that's got a new model just months later.
I love all of the improvements. AWD and the new 10.1 display and lux interior on that Pinnacle are awesome...... HOWEVER.... What the Pacifica needs are factory supported programs to make it more competitive. The current lease programs on LTD and Touring L+ SUCK A#@!!!!! Every month we are loosing current T&C and first year Pacifica lease customers because the programs are not even close to what they were 3 years ago....
Is AWD available on the PHEV models? Also are there any updates to the PHEV system in terms of range?
I do think the rear end tail lights look way better on this new one.
It's only available on gas-powered models.
I gotta say, man did Ryan at M.I. ever nail that render on the updated styling.
I'm not sure either, as the Pacifica has always had at least an optional deflated spare tire.
There is still a spare tire kit, but it looks like it's standard on Limited & Pinnacle, and optional on Hybrid Touring & Touring-L.
I love it!
A couple of weird standard/optional feature things, but I think it's fantastic!
Oh this is an improvement all around. They did good. The back is light years above the current one.
Styling update looks pretty bland to me. I will admit, minivans have never and will never be my bag.
Now if they would only do something about the D pillar...
I thought at first maybe it meant the “Pacifica Pinochle”.
Anyway, it’s a pretty good looking update!
Probably not..but..each one could come with a free cardboard cut-out of Ricardo Montalban(check with CDJSalesPro)..
Love the rear end especially. If this is an indication of where Chrysler is going it's a good sign.
