Yep I think the orange is the next best color. My only real complaint with Renegade are those stupid black painted roof rails on the Trailhawk!

The 4.2 needs a lot of work to pass smog and the 360 is a good running engine. Haven't made up my mind yet, however.

What about a 4L conversion? Or the hemi idea you had previously? Ooo, even better, pentastar. (Lol, dreaming, I know, would be a first tho)

The Hemi idea is cool, but will cost approx, $12,000. I already have the other engine.
Ditto the Pentastar, but it's still just a six... ;)
Great engine the 3.6 is, but it sounds like a six*...

*Unless I can figure out how they got that cool sound out of the 200!!!

    Ha!
I've actually, tried two different resonators and three mufflers on my Wrangler, it's close, but not exactly there yet, can't get the pitch low enough.

Tried and rejected, sounded like a Mazda...
I'm running an 18" Cherry Bomb right now, not quite the sound I'm looking for, which likely can't be had with a V6...

    LOL!
Haven't found a Supercharger that can guarantee no heat issues yet...and it still sounds like a V6, not satisfied yet, even with 310 HP...still a lag in the bottom end.
    ;)

    { Disclaimer : I don't know what the Hello! I'm talking about ... }

I'm not a real drummer, but I play one on TV - That said,

You can play amplified Bass Guitar and get a great Bass sound out of a set of 10-inch speakers. Requires a tuned cabinet specifically for the 10-inch Bass sound, but it's a great sound when done right (have had personal experience). However, to get memorable Bass sound, people play 15-inch speakers, 18-inch (and there are some 21-inch Sub-Woof Bass cabinets to really get the Bass point across) to supply great Bass sound pretty much anywhere.

    Moral:

To get the most out of the engine will likely require custom large diameter - and long A$$ - exhaust tubing folded up under your vehicle. Try talking to a Mustang exhaust specialist. I hear - now, I don't know first hand; I've simply heard - that they pull stunts with their exhausts to get a decent sound. Their input might be useful.

The 360 will be great in that truck, but what about a newer one instead? out of like, a WK, or a Ram or something? Just trying to yield better performance out of it. o_O

That said, probably the same issue with $$. lol

I'm up to 3", in diameter... And have experimented with much longer and shorter pipes and muffler, not much difference either way.
    (On my second resonator too)

Oh dear - Outta my depth.

Unsure adapting a commercially available larger diameter kit would add anything to what you've already done, except to increase Trouble, to go along with Time and Cost.

On the exhaust thing, why not go look at a 200? I figure the headers/exhaust-ports might be a difference too.

Haven't used any kits, I have used stainless steel slip fittings from Summit, so I can easily R&R the parts and components as I experiment. Eventually I'll hit on the correct combo. Haven't been in a real hurry because various mufflers break in differently, over time and I'm evaluating that as well. The trick is to get the tone I want without the drone.
