The big sign announcing the former Chrysler’s Auburn Hills headquarters and technical center has been revised again, with a brilliant backlighting for the FCA logo (which has also supplanted the Fiat logo in Turin).

Heh... It's alright I guess. Doesn't match anything else around there, but not surprising.

The sign might be Mopar blue. Color correction is rather difficult...

Looks sharp! Much better than the one they installed in May. Maybe they'll keep it this time...

Maybe this was mentioned elsewhere, but driving by the local CDJR dealer I saw on the front of the building.......a red Chrysler pentastar with a black slanted "F" superimposed over the top of it.
Is this the new dealer logo ?

No idea what that it... Sounds more like a Firestone logo than a Chrysler logo. Must be a dealer made thing.

Yes that is a dealership logo, not a corporate logo.

Marchionne surely didn't squander much lire on a type designer for that font logo!

That font is just fine. No need for anything super-fancy, cliche, or with serifs in a large business application, IMO.

I like the blue. I have a feeling it's slightly darker in person.

Notice the address at the bottom? That's a nice homage. They did not have to include that.

Homage? That's been the name of the street since the CTC was built.

    Yup.

And there's been no movement to change the name of the I-75 Chrysler Freeway to the "FCA US Freeway" the last I checked.

Nor any attempts made to remove the top floor of the CTC to get rid of the giant Pentastar window.

    ;)

Same street address CTC always was. That is the main entrance there always was. All they did was redecorate the main granite. The important part, the Pentastar, is still at the top of the HQ building.

It is still there because it can't be removed right? I think I read on this forum that Daimler looked into removing it but the expense would be too great.
