Challenger super stock.
807hp. All of the demon goodies.
And there has to be more.
why do away with the rotary shifter? Ugh
Because t shifter is manlier and will pick up a whole 0 sales. I do like the interior a lotX exterior leaves a lot to be desired
Rotary shifter has been gone for a couple years in the Durango. I think they switched to the T-shifter for 2018.
Agreed. The interior looks nice because it's new. The exterior isn't as different as I was expecting. I was thinking there'd be a more evolved version of the design language, not something that looks basically the same with new headlights.
I'm still interested in seeing what else they have in store though.
someone jumped the gun ...
Dodge’s 2021 Lineup Slimmed Down, Souped Up (at https://www.wardsauto.com/technology/dodge-s-2021-lineup-slimmed-down-souped )
They’re going to piss off Demon’s flippers
Does anyone know if the 2021 Charger and Challenger will get the new center console of the 2021 Durango (larger screen, more buttons)?
One year, oh wow, enjoy the markups. That was surprising.
The Interior is of Grand Cherokee Level design wise now.
Would be nice to the see the new Charger hood in body color...
It is weird for me that Charger Redeye didn’t pick up more top speed. It is the same 203mph as the regular Hellcat.
Is it limited by aerodynamic, tires or differential??
The rotary shifter needs to die. I HATE it in my Ram.
They have done an amazing job with Challenger. 12 years later I just can't get enough of it. The ads are amazing. The car is the coolest car in America. The raw power is addictive. What a great job FCA has done keeping this old model relative. I want one so bad....but can't right now.
I don't hate the rotary shifter, but it never grew on me.
Once I found out you could swap it in Durango, I did.
Didn't have that option in Ram, but where I disliked the dial most was when you make several more rapid gear selections like backing a trailer where you might need to shift between drive and reverse a few times (especially for someone who only occasionally backs a trailer).
If I remember correctly the widebody treatment added more drag. The additional 80 hp I guess overcome that...
That Durango interior change is fantastic. Almost makes me regret getting my 18 SRT. But then, I just hit the right pedal, and I forget all about it.
I was hoping for a 392 HP bump as well... So how many models are there now for Challenger and Charger? My head is spinning.
There is a flavor for every taste and need.
I guess you are right..
Well, I was hoping it can beat Bentley Flying Spur 207mph speed.
I don't like the T-shifter at all. No longer do these shifters have a mechanical link to the transmission, they are just ginormous switches. Since some people seem to like the T-shifter I think there should be an option either way. I always felt the T-shifter took up too much space in my Charger - in my 300C the interior is almost identical but with the rotary it seems roomier. I think Mopar should offer a swap kit either way.
