Auto transmission problem

    Body tag: open the hood, look behind the engine, the firewall/bulkhead is the vertical sheetmetal that goes across the inner fenders. The tag will be on your left under the air conditioning plumbing. A flashlight will help.

    From the 2007 service information:
    The Body Code Plate is located in the engine compartment on the plenum behind the right side strut tower . There are seven lines of information on the body code plate. Lines 4, 5, 6, and 7 are not used to define service information. Information reads from left to right, starting with line 3 in the center of the plate to line 1 at the bottom of the plate.

    I don't have the plate, only the chassis number stamped into the panel

    Does it even look like the plate was ever there? Possibly the export PT is different?

    There's no rivet holes so I guess not

    Take a photo of the entire firewall and post it. Maybe someone else can spot it, if it's there.
