Some of the older members may remember me but I haven't been around much over the past several years. My last Caravan was traded for a Chevy Malibu Maxx in 2007 and I sold the Neon a few years ago. But yesterday, I signed on the bottom line for a pretty nice 2006 Town and Country SWB. I've always been a fan of the Mopar minivans and it's really good to be back behind the wheel of one.

I, too lost judgement and owned four Chevys. Worst automotive decision of my life. Mopars just treat us right.

I must admit to briefly leaving the fold with a 1976 Camaro many years back... I loved the comfort and cornering. I hated the fact that bits kept dropping off and all the seals were rotten.

You probably didn't own it long enough for the lobes to wear off the cam (assuming it was a V8) like was a big issue with some of the Chevy motors back then.

I gotta admit, the Malibu Maxx was a pretty nice car. Very comfortable and quite swift. 30+ MPG on the highway. The front suspension was the weak point--seems like once/year I was replacing some bushing or control arm or...

I can't help but show it off. I'm not a fan of the aftermarket graphics on the sides, but the rest of the car is so nice I'll put up with them. Yes, I saved it from a Toyota dealer! :)

It does look pretty clean for a 9 year old van, that's for sure.

The stealership did a nice job of sprucing it up, I think. They also sunk $1200 into it before putting it on the used lot--new tires, new brakes, stabilizer bar bushings...and most people setting foot on a Toyota lot AREN'T looking for a lousy, no good Chrysler! :)

I remember you, and welcome back! Isn't it nice to come back home after a long hiatus? Nice looking T&C, that was an elegant design (if a minivan could be considered elegant).

    Welcome back.
I have just recently realized that I've reached the day in my life when I don't own a Chrysler van since about 1985. From the '77 B300, to the '87 B250, '91 Voyager, '95 Voyager Sport, '89 B250 conversion, '98 Voyager Expresso an finally the '05 Grand Caravan which left the garden last week.
    Don't worry though, I own a 2010 Ram 1500, a 2011 Compass and an '89 Daytona that I intend to resurrect.

Nice clean looking van you have. It won't be long before the DCX cost cutting appears in the bits and pieces, but they are still the best.

And you've got the split 3rd row seats! I really like those.

Great looking van. I even like the graphics. I especially like the split 3rd row seats. I had no idea that they'd ever done that!
