Yep, the only thing more distinctive than a Dodge with the racetrack lighting is a Dodge with the racetrack lighting where a segment of the racetrack doesn't work.

Enough with the super mild refreshes... time for an actual update.

Can't wait for those new vehicles (if they are good). :)

You can get it in Citadel Anodized Platinum (mine) or it's an option on the R/T. At least it was for MY2019.

I'm a little surprised (pleasantly) that they would put the money into freshening a vehicle that will be discontinued in a few years as the new 3-row vehicles come on line. Hopefully with the merger in motion, they can spend a little more freely on keeping their over all product lineup fresh.

You are correct...I checked MY2020 build and its standard in the Citadel Plat. and an option in the R/T.
Now just add a second row fixed sunroof and she competes with all the current competition!

Pretty sure it's available in GT Plus too. As far as I know, Citadel is going away with customers being redirected to R/T.

They’ve been saying that the Citadel trim was going away for a while now, although with the current version of Durango going away in a few years I kinda wonder what’s the point, why not just leave it as an option. Though with with 3-row Grand Cherokee-ish vehicle coming soon, it will probably fill that niche anyway...so I guess there’s a point after all. Lol.

If I had to guess, I'd say the refreshed Durango will only have the sporty front fascia and the chrome accents from the Citadel wouldn't look right.

I would agree with that guess. I suppose that chrome would fit in better on a Jeep.

Why do I see a crosshair?

My guess is it's a fake crosshair and it is part of the camouflage to distract. Just an uneducated guess.

R/T and Citadel are 2 vastly different vehicles in how they drive and feel.
I specifically chose the Citadel/Hemi over the R/T because of the difference.
But I'd be happy if I had a Jeep choice if the Citadel leaves.

Better let Dodge know then, because they're telling dealers how to direct customers from a Citadel to an R/T once the Citadel buildout is complete, if it's not already.

After having owned several FCA vehicles from 2012 up (mostly Dodges), I can admit the interior felt a little long in the tooth in my 2017 Scat Pack. My 18 SRT Durango has the SRT Interior Group.

It makes a WORLD of difference. It feels so much fresher than those without.

If that's true, then the new JGC 3 row must be right around the corner.

The only things Durango didn't have compared to modern competition that I thought was unfortunate was the 2nd sunroof and full camera system outside. Other than that, it's great. Not bad for a dinosaur.
