    From the article:

Corvette sales have been worse than dismal this year. Chevy sold 1,345 Corvettes in October, down 49% from October last year. Sales are off 20% for the first ten months, from 20,236 to 25,345.

This is with no real competition from the Viper out there.

The new ZR-1 finally makes the the Corvette look good. The styling of the new 'vette doesn't work for me.

Those few that actually liked the angular styling and horrible tail lights good looking have bought theirs.
Leaving all the folks that hate the styling and find it a desecration of all things Corvette.

    I would spend money on a C4 or C6 if I wanted a Vette.
Too much Pontiac in the C5 and too little Vette in the C7.
The front end of the C7 is good. From the front wheels rearward I'll pass.

That’s $9000 more than I’d ever spend on one.

My son is under the size for a 95% male and he doesn't fit in the new Vettes of the fleet under his care. The same problem happens in the Cramaro. Ironically, he fits in a Fiat 500 just fine.

Similarly, only 10 years ago, I had a 6'2" worker that drove a 1980s Plymouth Horizon sedan 100+ miles round-trip to work daily.

Is it safe to say that the increase in sales for Dodge is the demise of the ZO6... well if not it sure sounds good.

Maybe the baby boomers who have always wanted their dream car already got theirs and now are getting to the age that a 750 horse track car may not be a good choice. I believe Harley Davidson sales are tumbling too.
