I love the Tomahawk. Everything about it. The styling and engineering is awesome.

New Yorker, though, I would have to assume would be in the tradition of Chrysler's previous New Yorkers. Which brings up george's point. What WOULD be considered hip in New York today? what would sell?

I think I gave up guessing on what would sell when the Caliber and Hummer H3 became hits.

IMHO, the H3 was the Hummer "concept" done right. THe H2 just looks big, bulky, and awkward. The H3 "fits."

Names popping to the top in trademark search include AVENGER, NASSAU, LIBERTY LATITUDE, LIBERTY COUNTRY, R/T, and MYGIG...

That's been a rumor for a while actually. I was looking throught the car-truck.com archives and one article covered how we went from "300N" to "300C" with possible "special editions" like the "New Yorker Edition" and whatnot.

As long as it weren't a simple package upgrade and it actually looked different, I'd be cool with that. Thought I'd rather have a New Yorker, completely different from the 300 and 300C. The 300C SRT-8 doesn't even look all that different from the 300C to me.

It sounds like they're still tossing New Yorker and Imperial around as names for a larger Chrysler sedan.

Per an insider, it's what the production Chrysler supercar (aka ME Four Twelve) will be called, if it's produced.

Doesn't sound all that "super", if you ask me.

(and I'd completely understand if you wouldn't ask me...) :p

As long as the Corsair has "reech Corinthian leather", I'm down.

    Ewww...
Corsair... trim line of the Edsel. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edsel_Corsair

Then the Ford Corsair in UK from the 60's. http://www.fordcorsair.com/

Don't care what kind of supercar the name would go on, everytime I hear it , i'm gonna think of funky looking british Fords.

And all of those cars were named after THIS. Google "Joe Foss", "Pappy Boyington", and "VMF-214" for a clue or two. This name rocks, IMO.

Corsair was a badass AMERICAN fighter plane

as opposed to ME-412, which sounds too much like the badass GERMAN fighter plane, the ME-262

While stylistically, it was a great looking bird, if you were to ask any pilot, who flew these and other planes, they will tell you they were a true "PITA" to fly. They have said they would have much rather been flying the old Wildcats, Hellcats, or newer P-51's and P-38's.

Read that landing it was a real b*tch. Sitting that far back couldn't see the ground. Still liked the show Baa Baa Black Sheep. Liked the white Bull Terrier too.

The original Golden Eagle CJ's were those that came with the 304 V8. This could indicate a possible Hemi in the Wrangler Unlimited?

    That would be cool.

Sportsman sounds like a dressed-up Chrysler truck or something. Maybe a special-edition Aspen?

Corsair will probably end up being a minivan or something...
