for some reason, i can see that being used on the compass
Nice one. I was looking at the O and I thought to myself that I had seen it before.
I would highly doubt it.
Makes more sense as a production name for the Firepower or whatever form the ME-412 takes.
It was a great plane when it debuted. The British actually were the ones who had the nerve to land it on a carrier and we followed suit after they did. The Corsair could eat an inexperienced pilot for breakfast. However, it was the first plane the Allies had that could outperform the Zero. The P-51 came later.
The Japanese called the Corsair "Whistling Death." It was one of the most lethal and legendary airplanes in WW11.
They should call the Firepower the Corsair.
Looks like the Zodiac Killer's signature.

Technically, the P-51 entered service first. The Corsair soon followed. According to Wikepedia the P-51 Mustang entered service in mid 1942 the F4U Corsair entered service in late December 1942.

It WAS (most recently) an early rarely seen design concept from 2000 that became the 2005+ Chrysler 300. The concept now sits in the WPC museum.
It would not surprise me to see it now as a trim line/Special edition on a Chrysler product going forward though. (i.e. 300C Nassau Edition or something)
For some reason a Chrysler version of the Nitro/Liberty popped into my head.
My guess is that the Nassau is the 300C wagon which will be named differently from the 300C because they want to classify it as a truck to get the CAFE deduction.
