Next they will come out with the Unobtanium.
That must be the name for Dart SRT .
Patent #9,091,233: New EGR system for 90-degree V8s. Example engine shown is a twin-turbo, intercooled V8. Hmmm
Patent #9,073,411: Releasable windshield for a vehicle.
Interesting. Well, they did say something about a Hemi upgrade before the end..... I am guessing the twin turbo was designed before the supercharger was chosen, for whatever reason. Maybe it's for a truck, Durango, etc... very hard to tell. The windshield one is interesting too.
The patent was also filed Dec 2, 2013. The supercharged Hemi would have been well locked in a year or two, if not longer before this patent was filed. Keep in mind that the patent is really only for an EGR system for a 90* V8, however I found it very curious they chose to use a twin-turbo V8 as the example engine.
As far as the windshield one goes, I'm about 90% positive that's your JL fold down windshield, since it appears to allow for a "real" A-pillar while keeping the fold-down ability of the windshield.
It IS interesting. Makes one wonder if they were misleading people about the rumored Hellcat There is a Hemi upgrade planned still, AFAIK. I agree with you on the windshield. They may also be looking at twin turbo V8s for Jeep Grand Cherokee, Rams, etc.
WR/4-N-GL.3R (G & S: Motor vehicles, namely, concept motor vehicles) was applied for trademark on 4/14/15 and will be published for opposition on 9/15/15.
R.3-SP/3.CT (G & S: Motor vehicles, namely, concept motor vehicles) was applied for trademark on 4/14/15 and will be published for opposition on 9/15/15.
700C and CHRYSLER 700C have been abandoned as of 8/10/2015.
OK that's an interesting way to spell Wrangler and respect.... Gotta wonder what kind of concepts these are gonna be?
Well, that's good news, they won't call it 700. WR/4-N_GL.3R? Seriously? Suspect that's going to be a mod concept.
I will only note that Ralph Gilles makes a lot of use of the word "RESPECT."
WR/4-N_GL.3R will almost certainly be some kind of military or industrial themed Wrangler. Likely stenciled in white paint on the fender or something.
Do the letter groups mean anything to anyone?
GL (that's the Mercedes, right?)
4-N could be 4th parallel north. That's all I could think of. Next year is Jeeps 75th maybe it's a WW2 reference?
That makes sense...
That's a variation on hacker LEET speak ( L337 technically )
Wr4ngl3r would be the leet way of spelling it.
They came from the JK2A Staff Car Concept.
I understand it's leet speak, I just wondered if they broke it up to add meaning instead of having it all together.
Glad to see 700C was abandoned. I'd hate to see Chrysler go all alpha-numeric. Of course they still could just use 700...
