Dave beat you to it with an Allpar story.
Chrysler rescuing Sesame Street (at https://www.allpar.com/forums/threads/chrysler-rescuing-sesame-street.168368/#post-1084873127 )
I hope this stays open with cooler heads...!!!!!
I think it's a great advertising opportunity. We've seen so many bad ads over the years, this could be a winner.
I totally agree. I can't see a downside with this.
Not only will this make Chrysler look responsible to the parents of the kids watching Sesame Street, but.....(I hate to say it, but it's sooooo true).....It makes so much sense to get to prospective customers as early as possible.
I'm firmly into middle age......but all these years later.....I STILL associate Kellogs Cereals with their sponsorship of the long-gone "Captain Kangaroo", and "The Edge of Night".
"The Best To You Each Morning......From Kellogs Of Battle Creek"

I believe this is a good marketing move by FCA.
Aargh!! Sarcasm doesn't work on the internet. There goes my post.
Pacifica’s ads have been pretty awful so far. Sesame Street guys probably had some good ideas. I didn't watch the ads but they have to be better than Jim G...
I want to see the Count in a Demon. Nine! A nine second pass, ha ha ha... (lightning, thunder)
“The number of the day is 840!”
(I do remember once they had a “number of the day” that was 23 or some such. It was a LONG episode.)
Pacifica ads have thus far been akin to the Dart ad campaign, which was a complete flop; take a nobody "comic" and drum him up to be more than he is.
Total swing and a miss on both counts.
Pacifica advertising has worked for what the vehicle is. However, I don't think there been enough ads.
I guess this means that Sesame Street is no longer brought to you by the letter "A"??
"Today's episode of "Sesame Street" is brought to you by the letter A....which of course stands for Alfa-Romeo!"
I didn't know there was a race for who got the story first???????????????????
Allpar stories get priority around here for some reason.........LOL
