    A major influence:

Detroit rock-guitar heavyweights salute Chuck Berry (at http://www.freep.com/story/entertainment/music/2017/03/19/chuck-berry-death-detroit-nugent/99368776/ )

No one rolled two chords better. When he hosted Blue Monday, Larry Monroe called Chuck the Poet Laureate of the 1950s. Chuck recently recorded a CD of new material with a son and a daughter, which is supposed to be released this year.

I don't recall Mopars in Chuck's songs. He mentioned a coffee-colored Cadillac, a description that paints a picture in your mind immediately after you hear it. He also sang about beat-up old Fords running hot, probably based on experience.

I wonder if Chuck Berry's mother had any idea her boy was going to be quite this influential?

( Yo! Ted can still bring it, eh ? !! )
