I bought mine new Feb.22, 1986, and it still looks the same as in my avatar, I took that picture a couple of years ago.
I'd buy another today if they still made them as they fit me perfectly.
I recently bought a DC Rampage from an old gentleman a couple of miles away that hadn't been running for over 10 yrs.
A fresh battery, some gas, pumped up the tires and drove it home!!
Good luck on enjoying yours as long as possible!!
    Thanks
    Randy

just an update, turns out the old clutch wasnt very worn at all, it turns out that there was a combination of the adjuster coming undone where it loops up and perhaps not been reset last time the clutch was changed (if it doesnt reset automatically)

grab point is now a little more that half way up when letting out the clutch and the clutch pedal feels more solid (a little harder to press)
