Or like an Asian teacher assistant back in the 60s my Dad used to talk about. Couldn't say "flunk," and it always came out "You frunk!"

BEV? It can't be a BEV on the PSA EMP2 platform.

What's ridiculous to me about Mustang E. It's a BEV car on a non dedicated BEV platforms. They could offer ICE and PHEV versions.

The rendering didn't mention a platform and the 300 would be more likely Giorgio as the Charger is, no?

On the Mach E, they could indeed do a PHEV, just swap the grille. BEV first for the publicity.

BMW keeps the snouts but the lower grille (which I suspect is usually the actual intake) is hard plastic and the snouts appear to me, from the image only, to be solid. Really, they could just have outlines of the snouts and we would know these are BMWs.

Is this car gonna survive? That's a Cadillac 300.

@Dave Z -- The article that accompanied the image speculated that FCA could use EMP2 as the platform under this car. You're right that Giorgio is the logical platform choice. The last we'd heard on here, FCA was looking at retaining the hardpoints of LX (for manufacturability at Brampton) but in a new, modern platform using the same technology as Giorgio.

Given that the engine bay layout, electrics and in-cabin systems of the new Grand Cherokee could carry straight over to the new car, the cost of a new 300 is limited to a new body-in-white and suspension system (and there, there's work done on Ghibli/Quattroporte that could be leveraged). That's not cheap, but it's not prohibitively expensive either, especially if Charger is co-developed with it.

Styling is the least cause for concern, given the talent available at FCA, from the top man down.

Modern car fit for Brampton? No way. Width is the issue in Brampton.

I think it's too "Cadillacy" in the front also. Just wish these stylists would come up with something unique for a change.

I does remind me a bit of the CT6 but in my opinion that is not a bad thing. Always liked its front...

It's just a random design by someone from CarScoops - not related to FCA at all.

    Sure! Lol

I hope someone gets some inspiration from it. I’d buy it if it looked identical to the rendering.

I love this look and wish that FCA/PSA would allow us to have something similar for the Chrysler lineup. I think we'll get some new products now but they will likely be rebadged Citroën and/or Peugeot models with FCA powertrains.

    Interesting thoughts.

I still miss the idea of carrying forward the L-cars but shoving in the Maserati updates.

If they keep the hard points with “Giorgio technology” it's not Giorgio... it's an updated version of the same platform with architecture changes.
