Hey that ABARTH looks familiar!
My black helmet matches the car
Welcome to the club! I love mine!
Yee ha that looks like fun! Not that I'm in a targeted area for the 500, but I feel the Abarth connection to the brand hasn't been fully appreciated. It seems a picture like this would be a hit with young adult buyers.
Yes, the 500 ABARTH is seriously under appreciated and is an absolute hoot.
@BigDaddySRT has possibly the best SCCA Solo prepped 500 ABARTH in the country. I'm just lucky and honored enough to get to drive it every now and then.
Thank you BigDaddySRT
Man that looks as much fun as the high performance karts... this pic just made a salesman on our floor comment "WOW LOOK AT THE BACK WHEEL!"
I love the "5 HP" sticker
Another action shot for you, it's good when the inside rear wheel is lifting. The action shots are from the last race of the 2015 season. The car was corner scaled and tuned better for 2016
High performance karts? LOL I do that too...
Same helmet as the ABARTH pic LOL
Kart pics are from a race I went to in St. Louis.
He has a great sense of humor doesn't he.
+100 Respect Mike. Karting is such a pure form of racing and is under appreciated in motorsports IMO.
lucky guy, I got a chance to drive a stock car once, best experience I ever had. I am unsure what was more fun, tearing around the track, or lapping the other guy out with me - twice!
I call that Sleeper City.... Well to non-Mopar-enthusiasts.... lol.
That's Awesome Mike...
Personal question tho,... How tall are you? The Abarth has always intrigued me as a commuter-zoot-weekend-racer, but I am a very leggy 6-footer... What's the space like in one of those?
I'm 6'1 and fit fine, plus I'm closer to 300 than I like to admit so as long as you dont mind the slightly elevated seating position its good.
I'm 5'-10" and @BigDaddySRT is at least 3 to 4 inches taller then me crazy with bird legs... he fits fine.
Passengers are dead weight. The spectating area is outside of the course.
I'm 6'2" with long legs, and I fit fine
Front seat space in the 500 series is quite generous.
I suppose you appreciate the "one seater" standard of Karting then, eh?
