I've been expecting that or Nitro.
I always liked the original Magnum and the name certainly fits the Dodge brand. Sounds like a no brainer of a choice. Market surveys/focus groups may feel differently though.
Hornet is still TM'd
The 2006 Dodge Hornet Concept was actually a neat little car. It was originally intended as a car for feed back for expanding the Dodge brand into Europe and China.
The Hornet was also planned to be the name of the 2013-2016 Dodge Dart, before a few weeks before the debut when then Dodge President Reid Bigland wanted to use the name Dart like the Dodge compact of the past.
But I have heard nothing on the use of the name of the Hornet for a quite some time.
You know I had to do a double look at this thread because of you. I was wondering what the heck when I started reading this thread until I read the dates. lol.
If they build it, I will be there to buy it.
When will it be in the showroom?
if not the Stelvio
I like the Stelvio too, I just don't want to pay Alfa prices. I know they are not exactly the same but my second choice in brands is VW (currently drive a Jetta GLI) and without driving either one, I would lean towards the Q3. For about the same money I can get a loaded out Q3 or a base Stelvio. I am hoping that the Dodge comes out in the next year or so (or at least some more reliable rumors) and comes in at $40K or less for a loaded model. If not I may have to go with the 2019 Audi Q3 which will be brand new and built on their newer MQB platform.
Stelvio is competitor to Audi Q5. End Stelvio is more driver oriented than Q5. MQB is not at that level, not even close. European new Tiguan is related to next gen Q3 so I know what I'm talking about. European Tiguan can be compared to RAV4.
Alfa will add RWD base Stelvio in the line-up.
Bob, you keep me coming back for more
You guys and gals keep me coming back...
Dodge crossover that's coming?
I don't think I can wait that long. I'm looking to get into something new in a year from now give or take a few months.
2021 model starts in 2020
This thread brings back some great memories, like the "Hey, that thing got a Hemi?" commercial.
Which one? lol
Not in any particular order...
