electrical issues

    I have a 2012 journey American value package and just recently ive been having an issue with the dash lights staying on after driving and the sensor has been removed from car (push button start) . Also the center console ( radio , and all the trim lights surrounding it) will power on and off and when it comes back on all the settings a reset to default. Pls need the help it kills the battery and really hard to find a jump at 430 in am thank you

    By sensor do you mean the key fob? Is the vehicle still under warranty? Does the vehicle start and run normally? By dash lights are you referring to the warning (idiot) lights?

    This may be two different issues. Sounds like a loose connection in regards to the center console lights. Occasionally the fan, center console lights, and radio die on my 2010. Shutting the engine off and restarting it usually solves it. Hasn't happened for quite some time. The dash lights remaining on maybe a bad connection, or problem with the CCN (Cabin Compartment Node) or WCM (Wireless Control Module).

    May have to have diagnostics at the dealer.
