Elon Musk can't lower himself after accusing a hero of being a pedophile, and violating county health authority orders so he could make a few more cars, and then firing workers who stayed home becuase they had a fever... not even going into his attempts to cover up worker injuries.

You're right. My grammar was incorrect on my previous post.

I should have said something like "Musk lowered himself even lower than he already was".

    There...Fixed it for myself.;)

P.S Now that I think of it...Musk is a much bigger @#$%^& bag than Trevor Milton.

    Nice!
And I don't even know who Trevor Milton is.

If you've been following the strange...NO...BIZARRE Stock Market story of Nikola motors, you would find that Trevor Milton is Founder, and EX-CEO.

Any Tesla Fan-Boy... (which I am NOT)...would be happy to go into intricate detail!;)

Poaching employees? Tesla has been infamous for both a "use once and toss away" attitude for some, while others found out "They don't lay you off, they pix you off!" atmosphere was in play.

Fox Business said this morning Elon not paying rent on his dealerships in order to make a 4th straight quarter of profits so Tesla can qualify for the S&P 500.
That profit margin must be razor thin. Ha!

When you strip out the fancy accounting, Tesla still only has loss margins.

I don't get it. His cars are crap. Service pretty much non-existent as we all know it. Pricey as hell, worse paint and assembly in the industry and still he stands. Reliability also poor.

I believe Rivian is going to eat their lunch. I can’t wait for the R1T to hit the market.

Actually can’t wait for cybertrucks to hit the streets. Just so I can see how many windows get tested. I’ll train my kids to stop dead in their tracks and point and laugh at every one that goes by

And he even with that, Tesla sold nearly 90,000 vehicles in the U.S. the first 6 months of this year. To put that in perspective, the following brands didn't hit that mark:

Acura, Alfa Romeo, Audi, Buick, Cadillac, Chrysler, Fiat, Genesis, Infiniti, Jaguar, Land Rover, Lincoln, Mini, Mitsubishi, Porsche, and Volvo.

I’m not sure FCA has any stones to throw as far as quality and reliability go.

Agreed. My daughter's fiance is big on Tesla (even though he can't afford one). I told him today, the battery technology and electronics might be great, but the rest of the car is a POS. Not worth the $$$$. I'd buy a Ford before I'd buy a Tesla.

The problem is, nobody is really offering an alternative. Leaf? As inspiring as a toad.

@Doug D the battery technology has been surpassed. Tesla still uses a very dangerous chemistry... Elon betting that by the time there's a wave of fires from aged and damaged packs, Tesla will be big enough to spend its way out of the lawsuits.

Meanwhile, everyone else using the safer Lithium Manganese chemistries is catching up on energy density.

Where Tesla does lead is in centralised computerisation of vehicle control systems. Its single vehicle control computer replaces multiple embedded systems in a traditional vehicle, at much lower cost. It's also a single point of failure, but the chances of such a failure are so low it's a good trade-off. Other manufacturers and suppliers are moving the same way.

When Tesla crashes it will be spectacular. A Ponzi scheme only lasts so long. I can see a go out of business in less than a month scenario.

Given the Tesla boi's arrogance I will enjoy the crash.
